Getting Started - Team Assignments
Each league structure has a set of default team assignments. Teams are assigned to cities based on those entries in the team information data files installed with the game.
If you don't select default team assignments, teams will be randomly generated at the start of a new universe.
When you're starting a game with a specific league structure and not a player file, the default teams can be found in default_teams.csv. There is one set of default teams for every structure.
When you're starting a game with a player file (with or without an allocation draft), the default teams can be found in team_info.csv. There is one set of default teams per starting year. Note that Front Office Football Nine currently only has a 2023 player file, so only those lines beginning with 2023 are the default teams for those leagues.
